1.The Google Pixel 10 is Here!

Everyone is super excited about the new Google Pixel 10 phones! We have been hearing many news and rumours related to this new device launch. People who love technology really want to know what new things Google has put in these phones. Because of all these leaks, we already know a lot about the phones even before Google officially shows them.

This means the launch event might just confirm what we already know. This guide will tell you everything we know about the Pixel 10, Google Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and the special Pixel 10 Pro Fold. We will talk about when they will come out, how they look, what’s inside them, their smart cameras, battery, and how much they will cost.

2. When is the Launch of Pixel 10 Series?

The Google Pixel 10 phones will be shown for the first time in the USA on August 20, 2025. For people in India, this means it will be August 21, 2025.This is about one week later than when the Pixel 9 phones came out. This small delay might mean Google took more time to make the phones and their software (the programs inside) even better.

If you sign up for emails in the US (by Aug 18) or India (by Aug 19), you can get special offers to pre-order the phones. You will get codes on the day they launch or when pre-orders start. The Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, and Pixel 10 Pro XL are expected to be available from August 28. But the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, which can bend, might come out later, around October 9, 2025 this is not officially announced.

This separate release for the bending phone might mean Google is being very careful because making bending phones is tricky. Or, it could be a plan to keep people interested for longer. It’s a good idea to wait for Google’s official announcement before buying any new phone.

3. Different Models of Pixel Series

Google is planning to release four different phones in the Pixel 10 family: the regular Pixel 10, the Google Pixel 10 Pro, a bigger one called Pixel 10 Pro XL, and a very fancy one called Pixel 10 Pro Fold. Having so many choices shows that Google wants to sell its phones to more people who like expensive, top-quality smartphones. By having small phones, big powerful phones, and a new bending phone, Google wants to compete directly with big companies like Apple and Samsung. This means they want to sell more phones in the high-end market.

4. Look & Screen

The Pixel 10 phones will mostly look like the Pixel 9 phones. They will have flat sides and a special camera part that looks like a visor. The regular Pixel 10 might have small changes to its camera part and could be a bit thicker and heavier because it has a bigger battery and a special wireless charging part called Qi2 coil. The screens are getting much better: the Pixel 10 will have a 6.3-inch Actual display that can get very bright, up to 2,250 nits. (Nits mean how bright the screen can get, so higher nits mean it’s easier to see in sunlight).

Google Pixel 10 Pro (6.3-inch) and Pixel 10 Pro XL (6.8-inch) Super Actual screens are expected to be even brighter, reaching an amazing 3,000 nits. This super brightness helps a lot when you use your phone outside in bright sunlight. The Pixel 10 Pro Fold, the bending phone, is rumoured to be IP68 rated. This means it is a very good at keeping out dust and water, which is a big deal for a bending phone and makes it much stronger. There will also be new colours like Indigo for the Pixel 10 and Jade/Moonstone for the Pro models.

5. Camera Revolution: More Lenses, Smarter AI

The cameras on the Pixel 10 phones are getting big improvements, especially with smart AI features.

Camera Types for Each Phone:

  • Pixel 10 (Normal Model): For the first time, this phone will have three cameras on the back! It will have a 48MP main camera, a 13MP ultra-wide camera (for wide shots), and a 10.8MP telephoto camera (for zooming in) with 5x optical zoom and 20x Pro Res Zoom. Adding the zoom camera to the regular

Google Pixel 10 is something many people wanted. It makes the phone much better for taking different kinds of photos. The front camera for selfies is 10.5MP.

  • Pixel 10 Pro & Pixel 10 Pro XL: These phones will have cameras very similar to the Pixel 9 Pro: a 50MP main camera, a 48MP ultra-wide, and a 48MP telephoto with a huge 100x zoom.3 The front camera for selfies is a very clear 42MP

Video Recording & Smart AI Features:

The Pixel 10 can record videos in 4K quality, while the Pro models can record in super clear 8K.There are also rumours that video recording will be much smoother, almost like using a special camera stand called a gimbal. Google is putting a lot of focus on AI for its camera.

There is a new feature called “Camera Coach.” This is a smart tool powered by Gemini AI that will give you tips in real-time to help you take better photos, like how to hold the phone or find good light. This smart AI helps you take good photos

before you click the button, instead of fixing them later. Also, in the Photos app, you can use “Conversational Edits” to tell the phone what changes you want using simple words.

6.Battery and Charging of Pixel 10

  • All models push for stronger battery life: base model offers 24+ hours of use, Pro and Fold variants likely exceed this, backed by optimized battery tech
  • The Pro Fold notably upgrades with water/dust resistance at IP68—a first among foldable if confirmed
  • Qi2 magnetic wireless charging is a standout new charging feature across the series

7.What will be Price?

Google seems to be keeping the prices of the Pixel 10 phones similar to or only a little bit higher than the older models. This is interesting because the phones have big improvements inside, like the new Tensor G5 chip made by TSMC and better cameras.

This shows Google wants to give good value and sell more phones, rather than just making a lot of profit from each phone. By keeping prices steady, Google is probably paying for some of the higher making costs itself. They want more people to buy Pixel phones, making them a good choice compared to other expensive phones. This plan could make the Pixel 10 phones very appealing to people who want top features without paying too much extra.

8.Pixel 10 vs. Other Phones: Standing Out

The Google Pixel 10 phones are coming into a very tough market where many other good phones exist. Google wants its phones to stand out by having better parts inside and very smart AI features. Compared to the Pixel 9, the Pixel 10 has the Tensor G5 chip made by TSMC, which works better and uses less power.

Its screen is brighter, and for the first time, the regular model has a zoom camera. It also has better internet connection (modem) and stays cooler.

When compared to phones like the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra and iPhone 17 Pro Max, the Pixel 10 phones have very good screens, with the Pro models aiming for super bright 3000 nits. Even if the Tensor G5 chip isn’t the fastest, Google wants it to be “smartly efficient” and great for AI, so it works smoothly all the time. Google’s camera ideas are all about using AI, like the “Camera Coach” feature. The

Google Pixel 10 Pro is also rumoured to have fast 60W wired charging, just like Samsung’s rumoured phones. The Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, and Pixel 10 Pro XL might only use eSIMs (digital SIMs) in the USA, meaning no physical SIM card slot. This new series is more about making things

9.First Thoughts and What to Expect

What people think about the Google Pixel 10 phones right now is a mix. Some people feel a bit “underwhelmed” (not very excited) because the phones don’t look very different. But others think the new Tensor G5 chip made by TSMC, the built-in Qi2 magnetic charging, and the zoom camera on the regular Pixel 10 are very important.

This shows that Google is making its phones better from the inside out, focusing on important improvements rather than just changing how they look.

The main good points are that the Tensor G5 chip will work better and use less power, the regular phone’s camera can do more things, Pixel snap charging is very handy, and Google is really focusing on AI. Some small things that could be better or might disappoint people are that the design is mostly the same, there isn’t one super amazing new feature, some models might only use eSIMs, and the charging speed might still be a bit slow compared to some other phones.

If you already have a Pixel 9, upgrading to the Pixel 10 might not be a very big change. But if you have a Pixel 8 or an older phone, the

Google Pixel 10 Pro will be a great upgrade. It will be cooler, have better battery life, and many other improvements. If you really care about a camera that can do many things and smart AI features, then these phones will be good for you.

10.Conclusion

The Google Pixel 10 phones don’t look totally new, but they are a much better version of Google’s phone idea. With the strong Tensor G5 chip made by TSMC, better cameras (even a zoom camera for the basic model), cool AI features like Camera Coach, and easy Pixelsnap wireless charging, the Pixel 10 phones promise to be smarter, work better, and be more dependable.

If you love taking photos, or you use your phone a lot and need strong AI, or you just want a reliable and smart phone for everyday use, the Pixel 10 series has good choices for you. The Pixel 9 is still a good phone, but the improvements in the Pixel 10 make it a strong option for anyone ready for Google’s next step in mobile technology. The waiting is almost over – get ready to choose wisely
