Recently Samsung has upgraded its upper lineup in India with the launch of Galaxy A56 & Galaxy A36. Both of these models comes with refreshed hardware, featuring upgraded chipsets & GPU compared to their predecessors.

The Galaxy A56 comes with a 4nm-based Exynos 1580, while the Galaxy A36 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3

With these new built processors both Galaxy A56 and Galaxy A36 promises to deliver the best performance to its user, but how do they compare in real world scenario?

Performance Benchmarks: Galaxy A56 vs Galaxy A36

1. Geekbench (CPU Performance)

  • Single-core score:
    • Galaxy A56: 1,380
    • Galaxy A36: 1,023
  • Multi-core score:
    • Galaxy A56: 3,877
    • Galaxy A36: 2,690

One of the most popular apps to check and test CPU performance is Geekbench because it runs both casual and intensive  tasks in background produce single-core as well as multi-core score.

As we can see above the Galaxy A56 is having higher score then the other making it a better CPU device

In terms of frame rates the Galaxy A36 outperforms the Galaxy A56 in two of the three games we tested, showing a higher average FPS (Frame Per Second) in CODM and BGMI

Galaxy A56: The Powerhouse

The Galaxy A56 clearly leads in benchmarks like Geekbench, AnTuTu, making it a better option for those user who likes raw performance

The higher scores translates to fast app loading time, smoother gaming experience and overall  system responsive.

However the Galaxy A36 gets heated fast on excessive time of running games which may lead to thermal throttling and slightly low performance over time

Priced at ₹41,999, the A56 is a solid choice for users seeking the best CPU and GPU performance in the midrange category.

Galaxy A36: The Efficient Performer

On the other hand, the Galaxy A36, priced at ₹32,999, offers a fantastic balance of performance and efficiency.

Which is slightly behind then the benchmarks of A56 the A36 shines when it comes to sustained performance, cooler temperatures, and gaming.

This phone achieves higher higher FPS in two of three games with maintaining low temperature of the device this makes much efficient for mobile gamers.

Final Thoughts

If you’re looking for the raw power to handle intense tasks and games with ease, the Galaxy A56 should be your pick. But if you prioritize better thermal management and long-lasting performance at a more affordable price, the Galaxy A36 might be the better fit for you.
